In preparation for Citizenship and Immigration Canadas new Off-Campus Work Permit Program (OCWP), SDCs International Student Services will be presenting OCWP Information Sessions for Westerns international students and interested members of the Western community.  (NOTE:  As of June 1, 2006, international students at Western will be able to request Verification Forms - details will be released very soon).

) m3 \. P( ?5 v# ^8 {4 K The OCWP Information Session will:
% O6 @$ L) u+ R/ ?·         Provide details on the OCWP Program
' n. `$ `/ `6 ?  s·         Explain the application process (including obtaining Verification Forms)
, u, _2 A1 h1 v& b+ z·         Assist students with questions they may have about the OCWP Program
# y( k' [0 D3 [4 m! qIt is strongly recommended that international students interested in applying for an Off-Campus Work Permit attend one of these information sessions.

  J' x& H9 F% g6 J" x2 n# ]·         Tuesday, May 30 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
$ Q7 X1 }0 [% m, y4 X  p- S: m0 K  T: @7 O·         Tuesday, May 30 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
1 B3 O/ `" [7 H+ Q9 J9 d% k·         Wednesday, May 31 from10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
·         Thursday, June 1 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
·         Friday, June 2 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
  c0 C; F4 B! e( p$ N  z: i7 n  \4 NAll sessions will be held on the 3rd floor in the University Community Centre in the USC Council Chambers (Room 315).

/ O& h- N9 g1 d" U$ }$ W. M% KAdditionally, SDCs International Student Services will be providing guidance and advice on the completion of the Off-Campus Work Permit application form, or regarding the Off-Campus Work Permit (OCWP) program, during OCWP Drop-in Hours (no appointment needed).

+ R' t0 Y! q( Y% {O.C.W.P. Drop-in Hours will take place in Room 270, on the 2nd floor of the UCC at the following times:
) J3 V: G# ~; i: ]3 m·         Wednesday, May 31 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
·         Thursday, June 1 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
·         Friday, June 2 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
